What is transmix?
Transportation mixture (transmix) is produced when refined petroleum products such as gasoline and diesel mix together during pipeline transportation. When they are combined, these products no longer meet approved specifications and, therefore, cannot be used.

Direct Fuels processes transmix back into various types and grades of gasoline and diesel – similar to fuel recycling – so they then can be used as transportation fuel.
